NEW COUNCILLOR CANDIDATE AND THANK YOU FOR VOTING ANC

As an accountable and responsive government, ANC Ekurhuleni Caucus delivered a service delivery report to the approximately 3000community members of Ext 10 in Ward 84, in Tsakane on Tuesday, 14 May 2019.

The public meeting was also attended by the ANC Provincial Executive Member Ntombi Mekgwe.

ANC Caucus also took an opportunity to introduce the ANC Ward Councillor candidate Phikisile Masina for the upcoming by-elections.

Addressing the members of the public, ANC Caucus Exco Member Cllr Mbulaheni Makhadi pleaded with the community to work harmoniously with the candidate elect once she occupies the office. 

“We are aware that there are many challenges that faces this side of our community. We’ve been on the ground, talking to some of you and you were very clear to us. You said we must work with speed in addressing challenges of houses, electricity, reblocking and unemployment.”

ANC Ward Councillor candidate Phikisile Masina occupied in a vacant post left by the late Ward Councillor Bongi Sibanyoni. Sibanyoni died after a short illness in January this year.  The Ward Councillor was paraded to the community of Ward 84, and assuredthem that these challenges will be addressed.

“The ANC’s plans are very clear as we are determined and committed in improving the lives of all citizens,” he said.

There three service delivery projects have been completedin Ward 84, which included the road constructionof Jack Strouken,Xhaba Streetsand sidewalks in Gugulethu Street.

ANC Caucus also thanked the community for voting ANC in the recent National and Provincial elections which were held last week Wednesday, 8th May 2019. Whilst, The by-elections will be held next Wednesday, 22 May 2019.
