ANC CAUCUS WELCOMES CHANGES IN THE MAYORAL COMMITTEE

ANC Ekurhuleni caucus welcomes the changes in the Members of Mayoral Committee as announced by the City’s Executive Mayor Cllr Mzwandile Masina on Thursday, 13 June 2019.

Caucus is confident that theseappointments of capable and experienced men and women will contribute immensely in the Big Idea Development programme of accelerating service delivery to the broader community of Ekurhuleni.

We strongly believe that these changes will further intensify our programme of bringing Economic Growth and jobs, improve Infrastucture, connectivity, clean and sustainable city, settlements that are closer to economic developments and activities, as well as building a social friendly city.

We congratulate the newly appointed Members of Mayoral Committee:

  • Finance and Economic Development: Nkosindiphile Xhakaza
  • Infrastructure Services: Masele Madihlaba
  • Transport Planning: Phelisa Nkunjana
  • Human Settlement: Lesiba Mpya
  • Water, Sanitation and Energy: Tiisetso Nketle
  • Community Safety: Frans Mooko
  • Health and Social Development: Nomadlozi Nkosi
  • Corporate and Shared Services: Dorah Mlambo
  • City Planning: Ndosi Shongwe

We further congratulate former members of Ekurhuleni caucus Cllr Petrus Mabunda, CllrAnastasia Motaung and Alderman Robert Mashego who are now members of the Provincial Legislature and National Assembly, respectively.

In conclusion, Caucus welcome the newly appointed public representatives, Cllr Phikisile Masina, Cllr Paulina Bodiba and Cllr Moipone Mhlongo who recently been entrusted with the responsibility to serve the community of Ekurhuleni.
